Commissioned by: Nando's
Given such a choice location in the nation’s capital – just around the corner from the busy Farringdon railway station – Nando’s in Turnmill Street needed an interior and seating destined to stop busy commuters and locals in their tracks.
The impressive interior design is matched by Craftwood’s striking plain back seating with bold contrast piping.
Equally bold is the banquette seating that catches the eye on arrival in the main dining area.
…while in the foyer respite is offered by Craftwood’s float button back seating in a pleasing Barley shade from Yarwood Leather.
A layout change fairly late in the design stage affecting the lengths of the proposed seating runs was easily accommodated by Craftwood’s team without affecting the eagerly awaited opening of this branch of the ever popular restaurant chain.
“Impressive artwork”, was one of the comments received from a Nando’s customer on their first visit to the newly opened restaurant. The foyer utilises subdued grays and muted tones while beyond, a bold palette of yellow, green and rich browns invites the visitor into the principle seating areas. The new interior, both stylish and eye catching, is a testament to the designer’s craft and Craftwood’s expertise in bringing it to life.
