Seat Types
At Craftwood Interiors, we are pleased to be able to offer our clients the flexibility of 2 main seat types.......sprung base and platform base. All of our back styles are available with either seat type. In addition, our sofa type seating is offered with a webbed seat. Outline information regarding sprung and platform seats is shown below, however as with any bespoke item, there can of course be variations.

Sprung Base Banquette Visual | Sprung Base Seat As well as meeting BS EN 15373:2007 (Test Level 3) for severe contract use, our sprung base seating provides the ultimate in comfort; just the ticket for your discerning customers. Often used in top end restaurants and bars, where customers are likely be seated for longer periods of time. As well as enhanced levels of comfort, the no-sag serpentine springs also help the upholstery cover return to its true shape once the seating is vacated. |
 Platform Base Banquette Visual | Platform Seat Our platform base seating provides a durable seating solution for projects where budget constraints are even higher than usual. Used in many high street restaurants, pubs and clubs, we make sure that suitable foams are used to ensure your clients comfort. As with our sprung base seating, our platform base seating also meets BS EN 15373:2007 (Test Level 3). |
