Brasserie Blanc

Set in the historic town of Beaconsfield, the Hall Barn estate development houses this stunning authentic French restaurant, seating 180 people. Blacksheep were tasked with creating an environment that would do this beautiful building justice incorporating Brasserie Blanc’s famous traits of comfort, informality, warmth and great food. The desire was to create a welcoming and homely setting.

The Solution

The venue has been cleverly segmented into a number of different spaces, each with a different feel. The restaurant aims to provide guests with great food and drink all day – through breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The stunning architecture of the building includes a high vaulted atrium ceiling in the rear with beamed & brick lined walls in the front bar. Blacksheep complimented this with warm colours, and a variety of textures continued through to the banquettes provided by Craftwood.

To one side of the restaurant sits a bank of 3 sprung base, semi-circular booths which are upholstered in a warm sage green leather, with pocket fluted backs giving a plush feel to the area. In the same area but to the centre of the room, sited under the stunning vaulted ceiling, is a 7 metre long back to back banquette. The high backs are emphasised and complimented by the unusual buttoning configuration and are upholstered in a stunning cream leather with shaped leather arms to each end, giving the feel of an oversized sofa.

The last area of banquette seating in the restaurant is towards the centre of the venue and comprises an 11 metre long seating run to one side of the room, with return ends upholstered with the same buttoning detail. The backs are lower to allow maximum light to flood in. Together with the rich teak coloured leather, it creates a warm and inviting area.

The Result

The light streams in & there are plenty of lovely seating areas, ideal for everything from a quick lunch, a leisurely dinner with friends, a pint in the pub, or afternoon tea in the terrace garden. ‘Le lieu ideal.’ – The perfect venue.
